Deval Patrick: We've Got Work to Do

Deval Patrick addressed his supporters today on Muffy's rovian tactics Kerry Healey's negative campaigning... and used my favorite line 'she'll call me everything but the child of god to win this election.'

Furthermore, Deval said it's 'all a distraction' from his great record and her administration's tough talk. I'm inclined to think he's right - if Kerry Healey weren't so desperate, she'd actually be taking on substantive issues instead of trying to limit the competition and applauding a mockery of the justice system.

I for one am done worrying about Deval Patrick's memory lapse and much more concerned with making sure he wins - so the UMASS system's properly funded, real solutions to violent crimes can be had and someone with actual experience - not to mention a broad coalition of supporters - gets in the Corner Office.
