Memo to Kerry Healey: Tim Murray Actually HAS a Law Degree

This just makes me laugh. Kerry "I have a PHd in Criminology" Healey actually has the audacity to criticize Tim Murray for needing to take the Bar Exam more than once. At least he actually took the Bar Exam, which is far more than Kerry Healey can say! It's officially the first time I've ever witnessed someone who doesn't have a law degree criticize someone who does because that person essentially didn't get an A.

This falls in line with everything Deval Patrick has said about Kerry Healey: distraction, distraction, distraction. Despite being a "criminologist," Kerry Healey has a terrible record in crime and has done nothing significant to contribute to the field. Then she goes attacking people who actually have contributed, unlike her.

The sad thing is Kerry Healey doesn't have to resort to this sort of crap - and let's all be honest, it's complete and utter crap. Kerry Healey has a perfectly able former Chief of the State Police who she could have used to engage the populace in a meaningful, positive way. She could have designated him the point man on crime for her administration and said "as a leader, I have to admit when policies have failed. It's time for a new strategy to combat violent crime and I want one of this state's chief experts in crime to help me out, my running mate Reed Hillman." It would have been brilliant and - more importantly - worked!

Instead, it's just more negative attacks to distract voters from what's really going on. Like I said, it didn't have to be this way. However, Kerry Healey has run a truly inept campaign. She's a real novice. Instead of trying to build up reasons for people to vote for her, she's depended on tearing her opponents down - and it just hasn't stuck coming from her and directed towards Deval. When Deval's record speaks for itself and Kerry Healey doesn't have much of a record at all, she was crazy to think this strategy of her's would ever work, at least in Massachusetts.

Is this for real?

I don't think Muffy understands that people exist outside of her little gated enclave.

Has she ever heard of working class people and how, if we want to become lawyers, we usually have to keep working fulltime and go to Suffolk or Mass Law at night? Maybe now she'll start making fun of what "lousy" schols we'll go to next.

I don'tt know anything about Murray's background, but nobody I know can take off months just to study for the bar like you're supposed to. Most people probaly know someone who's failed the bar at least once.

Next thing you know, she'll unveil her new economic opportunity program. Just do what she did, find incredibly rich man, marry him, look down on everybody who has to work for a living.

LOL...

Murray's background is decidedly middle class, which adds to the hypocrisy. You're right, it isn't exactly easy for middle class people to go to law school and work at the same time. In fact, it's damn near impossible. Anyone who can do it deserves major kudos.

Hey! Don't give her any ideas!!!

I can't believe how nasty her campaign has become. And let me tell you, as a woman, I am so embarrassed by her behavior.

I can't wait for Nov 7. I am really sick of the hate and lies spewing out of her mouth

lol I'm not worried about giving her ideas; I highly doubt she'll take them. Even if she did, I'd be happy to give them to her... I want the best candidate to win and doing what I just said she should do would be the truth - if she'd really take a partnership approach to office with Reed Hillman.
