Change is in the Air

Victory in the US House and Senate = Rumsfeld gets the axe. So, what does Deval Patrick's victory mean for change in Massachusetts? Anyone care to guess? Clean elections? The permanent death of the gay marriage amendment? Real improvements at UMASS Dartmouth?

Everyone put their best guesses in the comments.

I'll go with real improvement in the state college and university system, although I think the end of the stupid marriage amendemnt is also a possibility.

Also, I'm hopeful that my local Republicans will be impressed by how gracious and classy Deval was and stop being unnecessarily rude, confrontational and jerky outside the polling place. You guys don't have to act like that.

I don't put too much stake in one man. The rest of the broken machine is still here. Dems or no, it's time to turn the compost over.
My prediction = higher taxes, no gay marriage ban, higher taxes.

Do illegals have to take a driving test to get their license, or do they just get one? I want that cleared up. Just "issuing drivers licenses to illegal immigrants so we can track them" sounds pretty broad.
