Today, We Mourn the Loss of an Old Friend

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it has come to my knowledge that a dear an old friend is metaphorically no more, his blog site down - presumably for good. That's right, throughout the entirety of the election, D.R. Tucker's crazy, incessant, lying posts made for a good laugh session that we'll never be able enjoy again sadly have to visit the comments at Hubpolitics the Massachusetts Fringe Right Crazies blog to enjoy again. Whatever will we do?

I'm going to miss D.R. blaming Deval for wanting to let all the rapists free because our Governor-elect was a fan of an open, honest and accurate judicial system. I'll miss the misleading links to my site, blaming all the world's problems on Deval Patrick because a supporter (me) wrote something related to it.

Let's chalk this up to a victory of hope over obfuscation and deception. Hopefully the dimwits at Hubpolitics the Massachusetts Fringe Right Crazies blog will be next. After all, they openly detest Massachusetts anyway. After 16 years of congestion, I finally think I can breathe again. It feels so good to get such bad news. I for one will miss crazy D.R.'s presence on the web, his quaint opinions were so bad they were good (in a funny kind of way).

I wouldn't declare me dead yet...

I didn't always agree with everything D.R. had to say, and I know he would say the same about me, but the many comments he left on my blog were always gracious and gentlemanly, which is more than I can say for many other bloggers who did not see eye to eye with me.

Lots of people think Joe Lieberman is kind and gracious too. I like to call those kinds of people dangerous. Someone can be kind and gracious, but spiteful, hateful and a lying liar too... and they don't get let off for being "gentlemanly."

I agree that they CAN be...but I've never known D.R. to be spiteful or hateful. Would Deval Patrick want you to talk like that about him? Remember, you should never build yourself up by tearing another person down, that's Deval doctorine 101.

d.r., come back! This sucks, I never heard of your blog, but now I *really* want to read the archives. Please? He's governor, he needs to be watched now more than ever!

Jeez aaron, it's a mystery why you and Deval Patrick Watch guy would get along like long lost brothers. Not seeing eye to eye not necessarily ever gonna be a problem there. Anyway, Deval's supporters are actually allowed to do things he wouldn't approve of. It's not WWDD?

Who would say Leiberman is kind and gracious? Didn't he walk up to Lamont after the debate and call him a son-of-a-bitch on tape in front of witnesses?

Sadly, I don't think it was caught on tape - but something like that DID happen.

Aaron, Deval isn't the boss of me. LOL.

Joe, you can get a front row seat =p

Cage fight? Never, I don't have a violent bone in my body. But if Ryan ever wants to do some sort of live debate, I'm game for it. (Though I suppose pre-primary would have been a better time, but nonetheless.)
