Not Big Enough

Krugman and other experts say 1.3 trillion in spending.

The House plan, which Obama supports, will have around $500 billion. The rest is tax cuts, so we can have a measly $19 more every two weeks. That could be used to build medical schools, subway systems, super trains and cover state budget deficits the country over in this most difficult of year. But we'll get to buy a pizza at the end of the week. All to lure Republicans who aren't going to vote for the package anyway, pretty much no matter what.

$19 doesn't create jobs.
