Not a bad legacy. We can only hope for a speaker half as effective in the coming days.

And let's not forget, Ryan, he was one of the few with any sense to oppose casino gambling as a flawed fiscal solution. Many of the other reps have been drinking the casino koolaid and accepting casino-linked campaign contributions.

In my opinion, he was no better or worse than your arch-enemy, Dianne Wilkerson. I think DiMasi's probably earned a perp walk of his own, but that's not really for me to say.
A veiled, sophisticated, or convoluted bribe is still just a bribe.
