Today, we invited State Democratic Party Chair John Walsh to be our guest on LeftAhead.com. Mike handled most of the first half hour, asking questions about the convention and platform, while we then got into the new Community Organizer's Initiative, which allows individuals to have access to similar voter database software and contact tools that campaigns spend thousands of dollars on - via the aPebble platform. The common theme of the show, which is probably one of John's chief driving principals in leading the party, is to make everyone a community organizer, whether that's with the party's new initiative, the push for more democratic public access tv or even, as John makes the case on the show, the new platform.
