Gitmo's Closure is an Empty Victory

I have to admit, I'm not feeling so great at the closure of Gitmo - something Vice President Biden's promised will happen by January. While it's great that the prison will be closed, we're shipping those in Guantanamo Bay out all over the world, including into small countries where there may not be the same kind of oversight or due process. They should have been sent to American prisons and kept in the American justice system, given their days in court. Everyone deserves due process; will all of these prisoners ever get it?

Yah but what great PR for Barack. Don't deal with the problem, make it look good.
