Krugman: "This looks like pure disaster."

Krugman speaks out about what he thinks of Obama's newest, most idiotic idea yet.

The message this sends is far more damaging than the policy -- it's essentially a surrender on trying to fix the economy and growing jobs, while a complete validation of the deeply flawed Republican world view. Does anyone possibly think we'll get a jobs bill with the president pushing policies like this?

Still waiting optimistically for a primary challenge -- who will have the courage to take Obama on?

Help me out here. Deval Patrick has done no more than Obama, and his Senate isn't deeply dysfunctional.

Why do you want to primary one, and loyally support the other?

Deval hasn't done much?

I guess, to some, getting marriage equality through, securing some new revenue sources (including for cities and towns) doesn't mean much, passing sweeping environmental reforms that put Massachusetts at the forefront of states in terms of combating Global Warming and leading this state through the economic tough times better than most isn't all that much. Sweeping ethics and pension reform... not much.

Fact of the matter is Deval's done a lot. It's been done quietly and he hasn't received a lot of credit for it, but it doesn't change the fact that his one term in office has seen a tremendous amount of changes in Massachusetts.
