After all, if the Speaker says it's not necessary, that means it's not necessary. We don't need no stinking public hearing on a major, irreversible bill. Who needs to vet something like that?!
A few comments. 1) The hearings already occurred 2) These folks (DeLeo, etc.) are your guys. Throw them out. 3) What's next? Booze, butts, the lottery? 4) If we don't do it the indians will.

Spectrum Gaming wrote the legislation. How could it be bad?

#4 If slots are NOT legalized, the Native Americans can NOT have slots.
Once the Commonwealth legalizes slots, there are currently 2 recognized Tribes and 6 Tribes with applications pending.

The Spectrum Report, on which the erroneous revenue projections are based, is flawed.
A public hearing is needed to address those flaws.
