One person having a moment of stupidity does not compare to a national party and tea-party brigade who have a unilateral policy of screwing over the American people. These two things are no where near equivalent.
BTW: That "idiot" democrat was exceptionally sick at the time. He may very well not be the brightest guy on the block, but I like to give people who are on death's door the benefit of the doubt when they say something obviously stupid.
