A Force for Good

I love people who don't swallow the Republican talking points that private is always better -- and recognize that there are some things that Government just does better. In that vein, Dave from Hvad posted an excellent blog about the often-criticized Pacheco rule, which forces many privatization attempts in Massachusetts to prove that they'll deliver the same quality at a lower cost. This is a basic premise that should be met for any effort to privatize services that serve the public interest.
