You’ll note it’s not particularly rude—it shows a perfectly nice picture of his handsome face, and just recites the facts: he took money from polluters, and he voted for their interests.
We’ve heard from lawyers today saying that’s almost certainly unconstitutional, and I imagine we’ll find out in some courtroom soon.Let's hope the anti-free speech BS stops, because that ad is the best kind of good: the cold, hard truth. Nothing hurts worse than that.
Scott Brown is not on our side, and if this goes to show anything, it shows that no matter what, the activist base of this state won't let another election go by without the voters knowing the truth.

In response to the EPA funding cuts, this was Scott Brown's response:
Thank you for contacting me regarding the funding for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). As always, I value your input and strive to keep you updated on the important issues facing us today.
As you know, the EPA was established in 1970 to regulate air and water quality, manage the disposal of hazardous waste and clean up environmental contamination. I appreciate your support for funding the EPA, and like you, I believe that it is critical to safeguard public health and the environment for generations to come.
Congress has been actively working to resolve funding issues for the remainder of this fiscal year (FY). Most recently, Congress approved and the President signed into law H.R. 1473, which funds the government through September 30, 2011. H.R. 1473 provides a funding level of nearly $8.7 billion for the EPA, which is a reduction of $1.32 billion from FY 2010 levels. H.R. 1473, while not perfect, is a step in the right direction. With an overall funding level of $1.049 trillion, it includes the largest non-defense spending cut in our nation’s history. These cuts were distributed throughout the entire federal government, with nearly every federal agency and department receiving a funding reduction.
President Obama’s budget request for FY 2012 includes a funding level of $9 billion for the EPA. The President’s budget proposal acts as a starting point for Congress as we begin our annual budget and appropriations process. Because of the trillions of dollars of debt we face, there are virtually no areas of the budget that are completely immune from reductions. We must take a hard look at our spending priorities and will need to make tough choices to get our fiscal house in order. As the legislative process moves forward, I will keep your support for the EPA in mind.
