I went to hear Jimmy Tingle give his stump speech in his seriously funny quest to become the next President of the United States. Be prepared for laughs and an adventure, as Tingle offers up unique and refreshing ideas that, sad to say, are ahead of this year's idea curve. The place was packed, so I'd get tickets in advance - with information on how to buy them listed below. Tickets cost $30, which is awesome considering the caliber of the performance. The theater is also spacious, new and designed with stadium seating - making for an intimate, comfortable performance - there are no bad seats in the house. There's also plenty of free parking and restaurants nearby.
The show includes Tingle's hilarious stump, as well as his "press conference," where he takes questions from the audience. I took my friend Allie - she and I barely stopped laughing throughout the show. Don't miss it.
